Christian Dotremont & Mogens Balle - Who, What, Where (Answer to Gauguin) (1962)

[Balle] developed an especially close bond with Cobra’s literary director, writer-philosopher Christian Dotremont. Dotremont was a great admirer of his work and inspired him in new directions. Together they made many collaborative paintings and drawings, called word-paintings, in which Dotremont supplied playful lyrics and metaphors to the paintings or drawings of Balle.
